The AESO is seeking consultant(s) for a 6-month engagement to review and revise the 2011 functional specification (FS) for two HVDC control system replacement projects (EATL and WATL) in Alberta. Services include reviewing the original 2011 FS, identifying a high-level list of FS items that must change due to system conditions, project scope, or proposed enhancements, recommending additional enhancements or functional requirements based on industry experience, performing any agreed-upon studies needed to determine whether enhancements will be added to the FS, and revising the FS based on those findings.
