Canadian Heritage’s Capital Celebrations and Program Operations directorate is seeking a supplier to provide catering services on an as-and-when requested basis for major events in the National Capital Region, serving artists, programming partners, volunteers, technical crew and staff at selected locations. This reissued Request for Standing Offers cancels RFSO 10251648 (dated November 20, 2025) and closes January 15, 2026 at 14:00 EST; it aims to establish up to two standing offers from date of award to December 31, 2028 with the possibility of one additional one-year option period. Bidders must demonstrate experience from the last five years by providing detailed descriptions of three separate large-scale, high-profile catering events (each with 200+ guests and at least two high-profile attendees), including at least one buffet and one boxed meal event, and must include event name/nature, location, simultaneous guest count, non-identifying description of high-profile guests, service format and other pertinent details. Bidders must also submit two sample menus covering Continental Breakfast Buffet, Dinner Buffet, Boxed Lunch and Boxed Dinner, and provide a detailed protocol for managing boxed meal service with food allergies and intolerances that explains how special instructions are transmitted to the kitchen, measures taken to respect those instructions, how boxes are prepared and identified (including protocols for particular allergies such as nut allergies) and any other relevant practices.
