About

SaskPower is seeking an engineering firm to design a new administrative addition and renovate the existing administrative area at the Island Falls Hydroelectric Station on the Churchill River in northern Saskatchewan. The project includes design drawings and technical specifications for a new addition to house a lunchroom, an all-inclusive gender-neutral locker room and washroom area, a health and wellness space for operations and a first aid room, along with renovations to the current admin area to provide office space for site personnel, meeting rooms, washroom facilities and a large conference area. The site is located approximately 15 kilometres from the village of Sandy Bay and 71 kilometres north of Pelican Narrows, with an anticipated start date of December 1, 2026, a contract duration of 3+1+1 optional years, and a Health and Safety Risk Rating of High.
