Tender: Fully Managed Network Services and Private 5G Test Environment for Wave Tech Centre (Multi‑site)

About

The City is seeking a supplier to design, supply, implement and provide ongoing managed services for a fully managed network environment supporting the Wave Tech Centre. The solution must consolidate LAN switching and routing, Wi‑Fi, SD‑WAN, firewalling and a private 5G (n77) indoor and outdoor test environment into a single integrated managed service, support a multi‑site architecture including connectivity to two remote locations via City‑supplied single‑mode fibre, and provide internet via dual ISPs routed with BGP using City‑provided IP addressing and autonomous system number. The network is non‑critical (no mandated 24×7 on‑call support) but must meet defined business‑hours availability, performance and reporting requirements; remain air‑gapped from the City’s operational network except for explicitly approved integrations such as identity services and security logging; and include secure co‑management, operational monitoring, reporting, lifecycle management and knowledge transfer. The private 5G test environment will be delivered under a shared‑responsibility spectrum compliance model where the City retains the spectrum license and the successful proponent is responsible for technical compliance, required documentation and spectrum usage artifacts. RFP 26‑1755 replaces RFP 26‑1552 and is the official event for proposal submissions following the earlier event’s premature closure.
