About

Agriculture and Irrigation is seeking a consultant to develop program area capital infrastructure and equipment condition assessment reports for three business areas: the Agri‑Food Assurance Section (five specialized laboratories providing scientific testing and analysis), the Alberta Food Centre (a CFIA‑licensed facility for food R&D and commercialization), and the Bio‑Industrial Opportunities Section (operating from the Bio Processing Innovation Centre and the Bio Industrial Development Lab). The work will standardize asset data and condition information across these business areas, produce implementable outputs to forecast and prioritize capital maintenance, renewal and replacement, prioritize needs based on risk and criticality to government services, and forecast capital requirements over two planning horizons (1–5 years and 5–10 years) to support future asset planning.
