About

Kananaskis Improvement District is seeking a supplier for exterior renewal works on Kananaskis Residences involving hazardous material abatement and exterior envelope renewal. The work includes abatement of materials coated in lead-containing paints and removal of asbestos-containing sealants; demolition and disposal of existing exterior wall cladding, trims, and building paper; localized repairs to rotten wall sheathing and framing; replacement of metal fascia, eavestrough, and downspout; installation of new fiber cement wall cladding, weather resistive barriers, joint tapes, self-adhered membranes, wood strapping, trims, and metal flashings; replacement of sealants around window perimeters and exterior penetrations; and installation of new powered garage door openers at each house including required electrical components, springs, cable drums, tubes, safety sensors, belts and other necessary materials.
