Correctional Service Canada is seeking a supplier to lease, deliver, install, commission, maintain, service and ultimately remove a secure perimeter enclosure system and associated leased perimeter security equipment for the Edmonton Institution for Women Minimum Security Unit, Building U in Edmonton, Alberta. The contractor must provide site verification, installation and service scheduling, equipment inventory, temporary and permanent enclosure designs (including 150 mm gap compliance), movement corridor stabilization, site preparation (including tree removal where required), Electronic Security System (ESS) design and integration (fence detection, CCTV, perimeter alarm/PIDS, communications, power and grounding), testing and commissioning, training and maintenance plans, inspection and service records, and a removal and restoration plan. The contract period runs from October 27, 2026 to October 27, 2027, with two optional six-month renewal periods; the procurement is conducted under applicable trade agreements and will be awarded to the lowest priced compliant bid, and this contract does not include security requirements.
