About

The Correctional Service of Canada is seeking a supplier to deliver integrated nursing simulation training to frontline nurses in the Prairie Region to support application of the Nursing Clinical Protocols for Emergency Situations (NCPs) and to meet Emergency Trauma Care (ETC) National Training Standard requirements. The training will strengthen clinical competence and ensure compliance with applicable provincial legislation, professional practice standards and CSC policy for emergency response and safe, timely patient care in institutional settings. The contractor must provide preparation, simulation sessions and debriefs, deliver hands-on skills training and certify participants in ETC using NCP-based scenarios, and issue a certificate of completion to each successful participant. The contract period runs from the date of contract for two years with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods; estimated quantities are provided in the solicitation statement of work and basis of payment and there are no additional supplier participation conditions specified.
