The Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Arviat, Baker Lake, Chesterfield Inlet, Coral Harbour, Naujaat, Rankin Inlet and Whale Cove, Nunavut, is seeking a supplier for preventative maintenance and inspection services for heating systems, including oil-fired boilers, furnaces and domestic hot water heaters, to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation at the listed RCMP detachments. The contract period is three years, the procurement is subject to the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement and the Directive on Government Contracts in the Nunavut Settlement Area, the requirement contains a security requirement, and this solicitation is limited to firms registered on the Inuit Firm Registry; bidders are requested to maximize Inuit employment, subcontracting and on-the-job training and must propose Inuit benefits via an Inuit Benefits Plan. Bids will be evaluated separately for each location with selection based on a combined rating of total IBP merit (30%) and price (70%), multiple contracts (up to seven) may be awarded, and tenders must be submitted to the RCMP Bid Receiving Unit at [email protected].
