Tender: Provision and Management of Specialized Transit Services – City of Chestermere

The City of Chestermere is seeking a supplier to provide and manage Specialized Transit Services for eligible residents who cannot use conventional transit due to a disability, medical condition, or mobility limitation. Deliverables include onboarding City-approved registrants into the Contractor's booking and dispatch system, trip booking and dispatch, operation of accessible vehicles, customer service, reporting, fare collection, and program administration. Services are expected to cover local trips within Chestermere and a limited number of medical trips to Calgary under a transparent cost-sharing model between the City and riders. The City currently provides Specialized Transit through an arrangement with Rocky View Regional Handi-Bus and encourages proponents who can satisfy the majority of RFP requirements to submit proposals while clearly identifying any exceptions or alternative approaches.
