Tender: RCMP Building HVAC and Controls Replacement – Calgary, Alberta

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is seeking a contractor to provide construction services to replace the HVAC system and associated equipment in its Calgary building (constructed in 1986, approximately 1,547 m²). The work includes removal and replacement of heating and air conditioning equipment, an air handling unit, a make-up air unit, pumps (including recirculation and sump pumps) and a hot water tank; rerouting of ductwork, wiring, devices and insulation; relocation and upgrade of the Building Management System (BMS) with associated electrical and control work; and related tasks such as targeted partition demolition, refrigerant work, installation of chain-link fencing, vents, grilles and louvers, thermostats, testing and balancing, setpoint optimization and commissioning. The contract period runs to March 31, 2027; the solicitation is open only to Canadian suppliers, bids will be evaluated on the basis of the lowest priced compliant bid, and tenders must be submitted by email to [email protected]. There will be a Phase Two site visit, with date, time and location to be identified during Phase Two to responsive Phase One bidders.
