Material disposal contractor needed to remove, transport and dispose of previously excavated/dredged material stockpiled at the SCH main site in Codroy, NL, and to perform associated capping and barricade works. The work includes removal of the stockpiled material and separation/removal of remnants of plastic/enviroliner, wood and other debris for transport to a provincially approved waste disposal facility; disposal of the cleaned soil at the DFO breakwater site northwest of the main facility; supply and installation of Class 'B' and Class 'A' granulars; supply and installation of 300mm diameter rock fill capping material to cover the soil at the disposal site; and supply and installation of stone barricades at the approach to the disposal area.
