Correctional Service Canada is seeking a supplier to replace obsolete electronic security system technologies at Mission Institution in the Pacific Region by supplying PIU (Perimeter Intrusion Detection System Integration Unit) and FIU (Facility Alarm Annunciation System Integration Unit) along with the required equipment, application and process software and services to implement a modern Perimeter Security Management System (PSMS) and Interior Security Management System (ISMS). This RFP is limited to pre-qualified suppliers under the Supply Arrangements for Perimeter and Interior Security Management Systems (SA CW2440311 and CW2440314); Bosch Building Technologies Inc. and Vipond Inc. have been invited to submit proposals. The contract requires delivery across defined milestones—project initiation and site survey, design approval, procurement and factory acceptance test, data processing and analytics platform, installation and cutover, and acceptance testing, training and closeout—and the work must be completed within 12 months of contract award; evaluation will be on the highest combined score of technical merit and price under the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.
