The Government of Manitoba, on behalf of Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation, is seeking a contractor to perform security upgrades at the eleven-storey apartment building located at 355–357 Kennedy Street in Winnipeg. The work will be carried out while the building remains occupied, with most work taking place in common areas such as hallways and laundry rooms. The Buy Manitoban Buy Canadian policy applies to this procurement and may provide evaluation provisions for Manitoban or Canadian vendors, Canadian content, or Canadian-produced materials; contractors must collaborate with Manitoba to identify Canadian alternatives if non-Canadian products are proposed and substantiate any cost variances.
