Tender: Servicing and Cleaning of Three-Cell Chlorinated Water Cistern – Edmonton Institution

Correctional Service Canada is seeking a supplier to service a three-cell chlorinated water cistern at Edmonton Institution in Edmonton, Alberta. The work requires replacing four failed underwater isolation valves to enable full hydraulic isolation of each cistern cell (two 133,000-gallon storage cells and one 58,500-gallon pumping chamber), then cleaning and disinfecting each storage cell one at a time, wet cleaning the pumping chamber, and performing a visual inspection to document condition and identify required repairs, all while the cistern remains in service. Deliverables include a documented list of found deficiencies, photographs and video of the completed work and any additional deficiencies provided electronically (e.g., on a flash drive), and printed materials double-sided in black and white on paper with at least 30% recycled content or certified sustainable origin. This solicitation is open only to Canadian suppliers, is governed by the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), will be awarded to the lowest priced compliant bid, and has no security requirements.
