TransGas Storage unit is seeking engineering and geoscience consulting firms to establish a pool to self-perform consulting services for salt cavern and reservoir subsurface assets used for natural gas and hydrogen storage. Required services include the design, build, maintenance, abandonment, and operational assessment of subsurface assets. Typical services include salt cavern engineering (drilling, completions, workovers, inventory verification, mechanical integrity testing, salt geology, site selection, solution mining/modeling, well & cavern design, wellbore testing), reservoir engineering (drilling, completions, workovers, inventory verification, reservoir geology, reservoir simulation/modeling, site selection, wellbore design, wellbore testing), and other associated services such as economic evaluations, emergency response coordination, operational audits, wellsite supervision, seismic services including acquisition and internal self-perform interpretation and re-interpretation, geomechanical testing/studies/modeling/assessments, and abandonment planning/program development. Proponents do not have to offer all listed services to be considered, but for the services they seek consideration for they must meet the mandatory requirements detailed in the attached synopsis and complete Attachment 1 – Storage Engineering Services Response Template RFSQ (all applicable cells across all nine tabs) and submit it in Excel format with the requested documents; failure to provide sufficient information may result in the response not being further evaluated. TransGas may, at its sole discretion on certain projects, assign a deliverables-based scope with the proponent as sole project manager and prime contractor, with full responsibility for procurement, administration and oversight of services, personnel and subcontractors.
