Upper Canada Village is seeking a supplier for the supply, engineering as required, delivery, and installation of an integrated collections-storage system within a newly constructed 75 ft x 110 ft steel storage building in Morrisburg, Ontario. The project includes three main components: industrial pallet racking, a freestanding mezzanine of approximately 1,296 sq. ft., and an interior security partition approximately 75 ft wide by 16 ft high with a large lockable sliding gate. The unheated facility will house a diverse museum collection including horse-drawn vehicles, agricultural machinery, furniture, cast-iron stoves, gravestones, hand tools, machinery components, and boxed collections, so the system must accommodate unusually varied artefact sizes, weights, and configurations while maintaining circulation and access for large historic vehicles and equipment. The successful vendor will provide required structural components, anchoring, installation, shop drawings, load information, and associated engineering documentation; the SLPC may award all or part of the work depending on budget.
