Tender: Construction of Beaver Brook Camp, Mealy Mountains National Park Reserve (Stage 2)

About

This project is seeking a supplier to complete construction of the Beaver Brook Camp at the junction of Lake Melville and Etagaulet River in Newfoundland and Labrador (approximate coordinates 53°42'56.37N 59°01'06.20W). The scope includes three buildings—a 69 m2 lodge with a 34 m2 screened porch and deck, a backcountry privy of approximately 18 m2 and a storage cache of approximately 25 m2—linked by roughly 250 m of wooden boardwalks and powered by solar panels; five tent pads, a food cache, a seasonal floating dock, log benches, picnic tables, a fire pit and a traditional camping site are also required, together with overall site work including tree clearing, topsoil preservation and re-naturalization. The site is remote with no existing infrastructure and is accessible only by boat, seaplane, helicopter or by snowmobile in winter pending safe ice conditions. This posting is Stage Two of a two-stage solicitation process and only suppliers who qualified in Stage One have been invited to submit further qualifications and a financial bid based on the specifications and drawings.
