Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) – Small Craft Harbours (SCH) is seeking consulting firms with marine engineering expertise to submit proposals for Standing Offers to deliver civil and marine engineering services for projects in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and the Northwest Territories. Services include work on small craft harbour facilities, shore protection and breakwaters, dredging, timber cribwork, steel sheet pilework, timber or steel pilework and rock anchors, reinforced concrete support structures (pile caps, beams, fascia, retaining walls, wharf deck), inspections, investigations and site assessments, and other engineering services (electrical, civil, geotechnical, etc.). Offerors must be licensed or eligible to be licensed to practice in the province or territory of jurisdiction; selections will be evaluated on demonstrated understanding of scope, approach and methodology, relevant experience and cost. DFO intends to authorize up to five Standing Offers per region (Ontario; Prairie & Northwest Territories), with call-ups possible over a five-year period and individual call-ups of up to $750,000 (applicable taxes included). Procurement is subject to listed trade agreements, the language of work may be English or French, and there are currently no standing-offer security requirements though security may be required at call-up.
