The City of Saskatoon is seeking a consultant to conduct a feasibility study to evaluate the development and implementation of Building Performance Standards (BPS) for existing buildings in Saskatoon, assessing the viability of establishing emissions performance requirements in preparation for the potential adoption of Alterations to Existing Building Standards. The study will evaluate policy objectives, implementation costs, technical feasibility, stakeholder and public interest, potential compliance approaches, and anticipated outcomes, and will provide recommendations on the structure and applicability of a BPS framework for the city. All respondents must register on the City’s electronic bidding system at saskatoon.bidsandtenders.ca to download the solicitation, ask questions, receive addenda and email notifications, and submit their bid; award notification will be posted to the same system.
