About

A contracting authority is seeking a supplier to provide all labour, plant, equipment, materials, supervision and incidentals for the Garnish Harbour Dredging Project in Garnish, Newfoundland and Labrador. The work includes dredging designated harbour areas to restore navigational depths and improve vessel access; removal and management of sediment, boulders, debris and other underwater obstructions within the dredging limits; loading, hauling and disposal of dredged material at an approved waste management facility; provision of marine survey and positioning services to support dredging operations and confirm completion; and implementation of environmental protection measures followed by site cleanup, restoration and demobilization. All work must be completed within 12 weeks of award, and bidders are recommended to visit the site at their own expense to review access (including ferry services), weather exposure, soil conditions and accommodation needs, taking appropriate safety measures for any visits.
