About

Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors is seeking a consultant to provide preliminary engineering, detailed design, contract tendering, contract administration, construction supervision, and post-construction and warranty inspection for Highway 16 rehabilitation and associated works. The scope includes overlay, interchange rehabilitation (including ramps), access management, lighting, signing, pavement markings, drainage and ancillary work across multiple segments: the Hwy 44/Hwy 16 interchange (including ramps), various Hwy 44/Hwy 633 intersection upgrades in the Villeneuve area, Highway 16 overlays between Hwy 60 and Hwy 216, overlay of TWP 531A–Hwy 16 including a weigh scale, overlays from 87 Avenue to Hwy 16 including associated interchanges, and Hwy 44 and Meadowview Drive intersection improvements. This RFP is available only to the following shortlisted proponents from the RFEI 2024-04 ranking list: Al-Terra Engineering Ltd., ISL Engineering and Land Services Ltd., and Tetra Tech Canada Inc.; any submission from others will be returned without review.
