Tender: Replacement of Docks and Marine Fueling System at Sidney Operations Centre – Gulf Islands National Park Reserve

Parks Canada Agency is seeking a contractor to remove, dispose of and replace the existing docks, pilings and servicing systems at the Sidney Operations Centre (2220 Harbour Road, Sidney, BC), the primary Parks Canada office and marine operations base for the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve. The work includes supply and installation of new aluminum-frame docks, pilings, water and electrical services, dock lighting, and a new fueling system comprising a 5,000-litre fuel tank, fuel lines and dispenser. All in-water works must be completed within the lower-risk fisheries window from December 1, 2026 to February 15, 2027, while work above the high-water line may occur outside that period. The contractor must implement the mitigation measures identified in Parks Canada Agency’s Basic Impact Assessment. This Stage Two solicitation invites qualified suppliers (from the earlier qualifications stage) to submit further qualifications and a financial bid; only qualified suppliers have been invited to bid, and potential subcontractors may register interest under “Partner with another business”.
