Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is seeking a supplier for exterior storm sewer repairs at the National Forestry Centre in Edmonton, AB. This procurement is Phase One of a two‑phase process to assess interested suppliers' qualifications; qualified suppliers will be invited in Phase Two to submit financial bids based on the specifications and drawings. The Work includes pavement removal, excavation, erosion control, eight catch basin maintenance holes, installation of 229 m of PVC piping and connections to existing pipes, underground power line crossings, inspection and cleaning of 220 m of existing piping, pavement restoration, a raised pavement area at the gate, repainting 208 parking stalls and six accessible stalls with associated markings, mobilization, demobilization and site cleanup. Contractors must complete the Work within 17 weeks of notification of acceptance of the offer, note that late submissions will not be considered, the site is secured so personnel must be escorted on site by NRCan and/or Commissionaires, and the site superintendent must obtain Government of Canada Reliability security clearance before on‑site work begins.
