Tender: Supply and Install 750 mm Smooth Wall Steel Pipe Culvert by Boring on Highway 41 near Wakaw (40 m)

The Ministry of Highways is seeking a contractor to supply and install one 750 mm diameter smooth wall steel pipe culvert (12.7 mm wall) by the boring method through the roadway on Highway No. 41, approximately 8.2 km southwest of its junction with Highway No. 2 near Wakaw, Saskatchewan, for a total length of 40 m. This is an advance notice with a shortened advertising period; work is expected to start as early as November 2026 with a specified completion date as early as February 28, 2027, quantities and project details are subject to change, and the Ministry reserves the right not to proceed. Initial estimated quantities include one 750 mm x 40 m culvert, Random Riprap Type I 35 m3, Random Riprap Type II 35 m3, silt fence 150 m, erosion control blanket 900 m2, and seeding 900 m2; the contractor must supply borrow material (250 m3), topsoil (15 m3), geotextiles, riprap, culvert markers, and seeding and erosion control materials. A 5% deposit with each tender is required and tender documents will be added when available; questions should reference "H26125- Advance Notice".
