Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) is seeking a supplier to design and deliver culturally responsive writing and storytelling circles and workshops for Black and ethnocultural federally incarcerated offenders at institutions across Ontario, Quebec, the Prairie and Atlantic regions. The contractor will develop bilingual workshop materials, coordinate scheduling with CSC staff, deliver up to 45 in-person workshops (approximately two hours each) between contract award and March 31, 2027, provide electronic summary reports within four weeks of each activity, and follow CSC approval, language, paper and security requirements; workshops in Quebec must be delivered in both official languages while other regions require English delivery, travel to institutions is required and travel expenses will not be reimbursed. Suppliers must meet the ACAN’s minimum essential requirements, including at least one bilingual facilitator and documented experience delivering writing/storytelling circles for racialized, ethnocultural or federally incarcerated populations using trauma‑informed, restorative and participant‑centred approaches and structured facilitation methods. The estimated contract value is $117,816 (taxes included) and the pre‑identified supplier named in the ACAN is Living Hyphen.
