About

Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is seeking a supplier to provide inspection, testing, certification, maintenance and minor repair services for fall protection systems, including annual inspections and 5-year load tests, at CFB Esquimalt and 19 Wing Comox, British Columbia. This RFEOI is the first step in a two-step solicitation; DCC estimates the service cost at $3,800,000 over a nine-year period, with an initial three-year term and up to two additional three-year extensions, and expects to proceed to the Tender Phase around October 20, 2026. Interested contractors must submit responses through the Electronic Bidding System (MERX); contractors must hold or obtain a Designated Organization Screening (DOS) security clearance (DCC has issued APN 86125 to allow initiation of the sponsorship process), technical plans and specifications will be provided during the Tender Phase, bid security will be required in the Tender Phase, and no site visits will be offered during the RFEOI.
