About

Ontario Health is seeking expressions of interest for the Provincial Head, Person-Centred Care position to provide clinical leadership in advancing a person-centred approach across the Ontario cancer system. The role focuses on partnering with patients and healthcare providers to advance patient, clinician and stakeholder engagement, improve patient and provider experience, and develop the resources, measures and reports needed for implementing and evaluating person-centred care to support the goals of Ontario Cancer Plan 6. Person-centred care in this role includes attention to the psychosocial, supportive and existential dimensions of living with cancer, promoting equitable experiences for populations that face barriers in the cancer system, and supporting the psychological health and safety of the workforce. The opportunity is open to all qualified candidates, including the incumbent.
